  996.1 was also available in Australia.  Porsche Australia says there were a total of 90 first-generation 996 GT3 models sold in Australia, consisting of 13 "Touring" models and 77 "Clubsport" models.   South Africa and Japan both received 996.1 GT3s and I believe they also sold a low number in New Zealand.

  I love these reviews. I&apos;m &nbsp;60 and now totally disabled but have worked all over Europe (Lotus and major German automotive firms). Having always driven (no longer) I don&apos;t miss it with modern cars &nbsp;and traffic.... until I see tests of <i>pure</i> 911s!

  The gen 1 in its Guards Red definitely looks the part, racy and all that, but the gen 2 in this dark blue is soooo classy ! I well imagine that all the GT3 911s are truly special machines and worth of interest, despite the fact that the more recent generations have lost a bit of their original grunt. Still, quite a feat nevertheless. <br>Great video, Sibs. Looking forward to following your adventures with the 996.2 GT3 👌🏻👍🏻

  Love the way you’ve had the courage to go for your GT3, Lee, and build a business that justifies! I was just wondering whether you could, in partnership with 9werks dealers, come up with some guides to managing Total Cost of Ownership of Porsches? Not only would the content add to this channel’s value, but it could help draw more people into Porsche as ownership, as well as reduce the likelihood that owners are forced to sell due to unplanned expense.
