54:30 Wrong, Herbert Kappler did not die in prison. He escaped to Geramany and died there from cancer shortly after.

"She feared his shadowy influence would threaten their intimacy, and these fears weren't unfounded." Of course. Look at the way men interact and the way they treat women. Men need to constantly reassure each other. "Don't worry. It's you I love. I don't love her. I don't even like women."

It reminds me of the show "The Tudors" when George Boleyn's arranged wife enters the room with George and his male lover and the boyfriend begins acting catty and jealous, so George insults and mocks his wife to reassure his lover. Sounds familiar in everyday life, doesn't it?

Their worst crime was losing the war. there are more war criminals in America, Britain France and Russia. They simply have bigger guns and a louder mouth to tell stories. Histories are written by the victor.
