  Every time I listen to Alan Watts, it feels like someone is quietly rearranging the furniture in my mind — and suddenly, the room makes sense. His way of peeling back the layers between symbolic reality and real reality makes you realize how often we mistake the map for the territory, the word for the thing. It’s both unsettling and liberating to see how much of life we live in symbols, forgetting to actually be in the reality they point to. These talks don’t just inform you — they pull you out of the dream and place you gently in the living moment.

  Thank you for uploading these videos. I found your father’s speeches about 6 years ago and my life has changed so much that it’s almost unbelievable. No more worries, fears or concerns, I just trust the universe and enjoying this great show on earth that we call life.

  The voice of Alan Watts is how I enjoy the end of nearly every night. For years and years his voice has led me and I hear something different or am led to think of his words differently. Also, he would appreciate my honesty when I say that most of the time I listen to him because it's simply entertaining to me. Selfishly, hearing him just makes me feel better....

  I am so very grateful to y’all <br>for putting this podcast up<br><br>I’ve been listening to Alan Watts since age 12 and that’s back in 1965<br>But I still grown up with such a wonderful guru

  I do Sunday morning 10k walks through the countryside and along the lakeshore at my country hideaway, rain or shine (as a form of meditation) listening to Alan&apos;s talks. I always feel refreshed and enlivened after. I love his impish giggles interspersed with the heady topics. Reminds me of my grandfather.
