Remember when we didn't give damn about their stupid laws? When we pissed on their greed, their corruption, their power and urge to control the people? Remember that some of us fought against it? Do you remember how we partyet when and where we wanted, showing no regards for their stupid rules? This was our soundtrack, and it still is to our memories. May love and resistance rise again.

I'm a 100% a jungle (NOT d'n'b!) kid but there's no jungle without the hardcore rave foundation beneath it, which I also danced to! "Hardcore" paired some cheesy, Italo-piano stabs, with sudden drops of urban bass, breaks, and Euro-"Mentasm" terror-synths! So it's a really special style, particularly with the British-only use of breaks, vs. the rest of Europe!

Jungle was eventually more impactful but "hardcore" was an amazing hard style of London rave music for a few years at enormous clubs like The Astoria and all the pop-up muddy tent raves in the countryside! Respect to all who danced and played to this severe underground music!!!
