I used the rice-and-water recipe (from a past video) for two orchids I received as gifts. One was from a friend who unfortunately has since died. I did exactly as you did, removing moldy growing medium and dead roots. I put them in some cute vintage glass jars and I was shocked. Both sent up new spikes almost immediately. One of the things I love best about your channel is that you use common, inexpensive ingredients that just about everyone around the world has access to. Keep up the great work! 😃
