  People in the west are quick to dismiss Turf because of its large casual audience not having a deep understanding of Splatoon and Splatfests force every one of different skill levels to play together. This gave the perception of Turf war being a “boring” mode for 10 years and counting. I’m guilty of this too for the longest time.<br><br>The reality is that Turf war teaches the most important mechanics of this game. Paint and time managment. How to paint efficiently, how to manage your resources throughout the match, How to keep control and prevent opponents from overwhelming you. It all begins here in a mode about shooting the ground.<br><br>I first realized all of this from fuzzy’s &nbsp;explanations years ago and eventually I watched a top level jpn koshien match and I was blown away by everything happening. <br><br>Now, I only think turf war is boring to play because of the huge number of casual players I have to deal with in splatfests. But in the few times, I played it competitively in tournaments, I found it very interesting

  To answer the question, I think I’d like seeing turf war more in tournaments if we had maps specifically designed around it to shake up how it’s played <br><br>I really liked Bunker Games from Splatoon 2, with how it incentivizes you to take control of certain areas early, I’m sad we have nothing like it in this game<br><br>Also I’d really like to see Todo or Riukun in the next one, or maybe a video on that tournament with Jordan, Grey, and Kyo all playing with Japanese teammates

  Let’s goo my goat is back with a banger🎉 Man of his word❤I would really like to see a carbon or a vds pov after the last video. Btw I would love to see more turf war in the west. It is one of the game modes after all and is not less than the others because it can be so stressful and the tiniest thing can result in a loss or a win. So there is a lot to learn and to get better playing this mode more.
