  Inde Navarette deserves an Oscar for this role. The true horror came from her acting, sound design, and camera angles, not CGI.

  Yep, it was this very scene that told me Nikki was never in control. It was always &quot;Wish Nikki.&quot; Bear really done fucked up. And to think, all this poor girl wanted to do was go home and sleep.

  The whole monologue from the party scene was one of many obvious examples that she wasn’t actually there. She has only ever seen him as a little brother that she can take care of. Her twisted rendition of Hansel and gretel was a way of describing their current dynamic.

  The reason why it started as niki saying she lost her cat, because she mirrored what bear think of her. Bear is the obsessed one from the start.

  &quot;I mean it&apos;s hard he doesn&apos;t want to lose her as a friend&quot; i hate this reasoning, like yes confessing your feelings is hard, but at some point you gotta learn to take a potential rejection, even if it&apos;s hard. These people are in their mid-twenties, they&apos;re full grown adults. Nikki just asked Bear outright to come clean about his feelings for her. Imagine how it must feel for HER as well, to not know exactly how he feels about her, especially if she doesn&apos;t like him romantically. She wants to cut to the chase and tell him that it won&apos;t happen, and he doesn&apos;t even let her have that. If he truly knew her that well, and if he truly LOVED her like he says he does, he&apos;d know that she would either not put an end to their friendship, or he&apos;d let her go. I get this sentiment of &quot;oh confessing is hard&quot; for high-schoolers or very young adults, but past 25 it stops being a valid excuse. Be an adult and handle shit like an adult.

  Even if he had said yes, and she still saw him as a good friend, she would have been able to gently let him down instead of taking the choice completely away from her.
