  This one makes perfect sense. The Dark Eldar one was great and realistic, but this one is inevitable...Poor eldar, watching their human die in like a day.

  Considering how the Aeldari look down on Humans, having to admit they needed to sacrifice a human to save their souls must’ve created some massive cognitive dissonance.

  Honestly there could reasonably be a story about a human infant being rescued by the aeldari after an invasion by orks or chaos and at first they are merely treated like a pet but overtime there is something that grows as much as xan be between a human and an alien.

  Both the female Drukari and the female Aeldari seems to have developed affection for the human boys they raised.

  Left me wondering whether the revelation was part of the plan after all. Instead of a suffering harvest, they have a suffering beacon that walks and talks and performs its intended functions, unaware of its masters&apos; revelry. <br><br>Mayhaps Mom will decide that she&apos;s invested too much pride into her pet monkey, and decide to cancel the harvest after all. Maybe that was also part of the plan, to make him internalize his suffering and let it grind his soul to a sharper edge, completing him, making him the perfect monkey. <br><br>Great story!
