  This was a crazy 48 hours for us, so just wanted to post the more raw, longer version to show you guys the chaos of helping rescue 2 scared dogs in 2 days 😭

  I absolutely love your videos, but sometimes it’s confusing to start watching one and then realise, wait, I’ve already seen this! I have no idea whether I should keep watching in case there’s something I haven’t seen yet

  This is a team effort as in JJ and Ella. I see comments that Ella is a superstar and yes, she's awesome but so is JJ, they are a team. It's DAMN hard for one person!!😳

  Just a thought, could you use the black fencing as a funnel into the conservatory and herd the scared dog in, narrowing the angle the closer they get? that way you dont have to touch them. Might not work for the scared dogs who park their bum in the corner and wont budge :)

  Stressful time for Joy and Brownie, and for JJ too! I hope Ella enjoyed her hike and all the dogs are settling in. I must give a shout out to Moki, who I confess is my favourite (I know you shouldn’t have favourites) who is such a character - a giant, clean freak. Her gagging at other dogs malodorous smells makes me laugh so much. She’s such a gentle, well behaved dog. The opposite of how many assume Doberman’s are. You shouldn’t make assumptions. All dogs are fab.

  JJ my heart was absolutely breaking for you trying to get &nbsp;a lead on Joy at the end of an exhausting day! &nbsp;Of course it’s easy to be a back seat driver but I would mention a technique I’ve noticed a lot on Pit Bulls and Parolees - she keeps the slip lead around her arm like a bracelet and keeps giving treats until the dog takes &nbsp;a few from her hand and she able to gently slide it over. &nbsp;I’m guessing that maneuver took a lot of practice to do smoothly but it might be worth adding to your arsenal.

  Wow, sorry for both you and Joy (and your mum) in getting Joy inside! <br><br>I had an idea when watching Joy after she first got out and was so nervously running around. Have seen this with other shy dogs coming to your place as well, when they’re in that back half of the yard. Sometimes they’ve tried to hide under a bush! Poor things. Why not have a new crate set up for them outside, partially covered in blankets so it’s a bit private with a cozy bed inside? Someplace for them to retreat too and feel safe if they feel too exposed outside. And then if need be, you and Ella could pick the whole thing up at night to bring them back inside, assuming they did use it as their safe retreat.
