  i’m genuinely so upset with how people treat DID on vrchat. if even half the users claiming they have it actually did, theyd be crying stuck dealing with real trauma. its a severe trauma response.. it happens when the brain is forced to split itself apart just to survive. theres nothing cute about that to be going out there saying ur counterpart is a fat wolf femboy

  this just disgusts me. the people pretending. its not just having silly goofy funny roleplay.. its not JUST having multiple silly personalities.. the dissociation is a major part, and memory gaps/amnesia, identity confusion, just lots of different things.. symptoms show up from ages 5-10 at the youngest. its not silly goofy, and a lot of people dont remember their experiences, although.. how people describe headspace is also a good way to catch fakers, while some people do have like “headspace”, its not like.. that. it doesn’t COME with DID, neither does hearing alters 24/7 or being in headspace 24/7, etc. its hard to explain in one comment.. but people treat headspace like a physical thing, theres lots of misinformation. pretty much, just how people treat DID will be a good way to understand if they’re faking. SORRY IF THIS COMMENT DOESNT MAKE ANY SENSE, IM SURE THERES A BETTER COMMENT TO DESCRIBE WHAT IM TRYING TO SAY😭😭
