  Here is some additional information on Ren&apos;s story, in case you didn&apos;t already know. I gathered it from an old newspaper interview and Ren&apos;s livestreams and posts where he discussed his condition. Ren Eryn Gill is a British musician/independent artist; born in Wales in 1990 or ‘91 (depending on which source you cite), he grew up in Brighton. Ren pursued a career in music from an early age. In 2009, while studying music performance at Bath Spa University, he began to experience health issues and was struggling to attend his lectures. In 2010, he was signed by Sony Records and was working on an album when his health deteriorated to the point where he was unable to continue and subsequently dropped by Sony. <br> <br>Ren&apos;s illness often kept him in bed for up to 23 hours daily. Ren was initially misdiagnosed with depression, bipolar disorder, and chronic fatigue syndrome, which lead him to experience psychosis. It would take seven years before a doctor in Belgium finally correctly diagnosed Ren with autoimmunity, Lyme disease, and resulting damage to the brain, organs, joints, and PTSD. Ren eventually underwent stem cell therapy in the United States, which improved his health, but it has not been a cure. <br> <br>Ren is currently in Canada for more treatments, including surgeries, and will have to be there for at least six months (Summer of 2023). Ren&apos;s Canadian doctor discovered that Ren also developed a condition called Mast Cell Activation Disorder, which has affected the myelin sheath in his brain, his thyroid, adrenals, as well as his bones/joints. <br> <br>Ren stated: &quot;It&apos;s a lot to wrap my head around having to be away from friends, family, and a successful career, and almost feels like a total juxtaposition to the fact that my music is blowing up right now and spreading to all corners of the world, but that&apos;s life, we take the good with the bad.&quot; <br> <br>Let&apos;s keep supporting Ren and not pull a &quot;Sony&quot; on him as he undergoes his treatment.   The reason this connects SO deeply to most humans is because we ALL have this battle within us......&quot;You&apos;re not smart enough, you&apos;re not attractive enough, you&apos;re not talented enough, you&apos;re not strong enough, etc.&quot;. &nbsp;Only the very few humans ever have the &quot;Light&quot; side win every time. &nbsp;What&apos;s even more astonishing about this video is that it&apos;s entirely LIVE.....no pre-recorded music and lip-syncing here.

  I&apos;m 68 years old and I have listened to challenging music all my adult life and my teen years, yet nothing has penetrated my soul like this. I have wept and wept and wept after listening to Ren&apos;s songs and yet he brings such joy. I have been to some of the places Ren has struggled through and I have nothing but profound admiration for this talented and courageous young man. Bless his soul and may his body be healed.

  I&apos;m a 54 year old guy who has seen Hi Ren, and Hi Ren reactions probably at least about fifteen times now, (since I&apos;ve discovered him this last month) and EVERY single time it still feels healing to me and once again I have tears running down my cheek as well!!! Such a powerful beautiful song and artist he is!!! And I absolutely love your reactions, and this video!!! <br>I just found your channel recently, and today, when I saw another video of someone reacting to hi Ren, just from my youtube feed, I immediately thought, wait a minute, because I was wondering if you had done a reaction video to him, so I searched and found it, and yep once again powerful and healing, especially seeing your reactions and hearing you, talk about it, so thank you for this wonderful video!!! keep being you!!! 🫶

  Reactors nearly always tear up soon after Ren stands up for the song&apos;s finale. Powerful emotions being unleashed when hope overcomes despair.
