If people will watch this video in the future to see Mr. Susskind, they will wonder if video cameras were very rare in the first part of the 21st century.

Susskind is in a league of his own. His indefatigable enthusiasm for cosmology is infectious and the impress of his teachings and generosity of spirit has left an indelible impress not soon to be equaled. Thank you, Leonard.

He is giving a lecture to a class that has people in it that have contributed RULES on how to calculate the probability of an observer. There is so much brilliance in our times and we hardly hear about it. How cool.

I do find it quite interesting that not only can we not see past our current horizon...we can't see past BH horizons either. A very interesting analog.

I think the key in this shift does actually get down to the heart of "forcing it". It actually defines what humans are trying to achieve with physics. To force it not only in our favor but energy as well. To collect it. At best slow it down and torque more. We have more than enough space to store it. Why not!? We collect everything else. Perhaps if there is an owner of it they would appreciate all that we could give back. Not sure how that would go though. Either way it is a win win situation we have here. <br><br> Nice share.
