These are the best docos. Made by real people about real people with real people narrating the history. No A.I content in sight.
Malcom Douglas was a fabulous bush man.
Good to see the old ways & the ladies enjoying the billabong cool off while sorting dinner.
Thank you for preserving & sharing this fabulous series.

I'm a proud Gamilaroi man. This brings both joy & immense sadness watching these old movies.

When I return Wati will be an old man, and the tribal ways will be gone forever. I watch all Malcolm Douglas videos once a year, and I cry every time I hear that last line.

This was very nice. I particularly liked how the film maker totally immersed himself into the culture. He showed the utmost respect to the people and their way of life without a drop of condescension, trepidation or second guessing. Well done good sir!

This should be shown in high school. To appreciate humanity past and the modern world.

Very well done. Man, Douglas knew how to appreciate the Aboriginal way-of-life, and how to show this lifeway to others. Many thanks to the host of this channel for sharing this.

I lived east of this camp at that time and this is the first such documentary I have seen that is genuine and impresses me. Malcolm Douglas was the real deal.

Malcolm Douglas, did such a great recording and narrating his films to document the beautiful people, their cultural practices of tools hunting, food preparations and arts. I VOTE For Malcolm to receive and Noble Peace Prize for his time spent in the wilds of Australia recording and preserving the knowledge of the beautiful cultures for the future. Jim Rodgers
