After Alex conquered this building, when people around the world talk about Taipei 101, it's not just about the annual New Year's Eve fireworks display. This breathtaking live climb has garnered over 6.2 million views on Netflix to date, breaking into the top ten in program rankings in 37 countries worldwide. Such international publicity is priceless. Speaking of Taipei 101, since its completion in 2004, it has held the title of Taiwan's tallest building to this day. Even before the Burj Khalifa in Dubai was completed, it was the world's tallest skyscraper. Achieving this was no easy feat, especially in Taiwan, a region prone to earthquakes, and with Songshan Airport nearby. Building the world's tallest building at 500 meters was fraught with obstacles, far more complex than you might imagine; the building's height was even nearly cut in half. Today, we'll not only revisit the story before Taipei 101's construction, but also explore which buildings held the title of Taiwan's tallest before Taipei 101. #Taipei101 #Skyscraper #TaiwanHistory #LittleCow #LittleCowSeriously #KoYuAn ________ 【Support LittleCow on Douyin】 Give LittleCow more support and create great historical stories!
