  The fact that Heather doesnt clack the tongs together twice upon picking them up is a huge oversight by the devs.

  “They look like monsters to you?” Is such a perfect line, delivered in such a way that makes you question your own reality. It could be to mess with you, it could mean the cult thinks the monsters of silent hill are angels, it could be that they were never monsters at all.

  I think the reason that forgiving the lady is bad is because her pleas are mostly selfish. Who is she to request that she be allowed to redeem herself in purgatory when she had every opportunity beforehand to attempt to right her wrongs? Why should she be given any peace of mind or any atonement? She made her bed with her monstrous actions and wishes to worm her way out of it.

  One thing I don&apos;t see mentioned in the symbolism of the final stages before fighting God is that it also has a ton of imagery eluding to forced pregnancy and Heather&apos;s fear of sexuality, men, and her body being used outside of her control. The fleshy walls symbolize a womb to me, and there is plenty of other imagery throughout the game of this fear in Heather.

  You mentioned Heather&apos;s attitude and punchlines but I&apos;m sad you didn&apos;t include the one right after she throws up the aborted god fetus, where as she stands back up and readies herself to stomp on it, she just yells &quot;looks like god didn&apos;t make it!&quot;. I always found that part very funny.

  This game hits harder as a woman. I remember playing it when i was 13ish and my stomach turning when you get the wire hanger, just staring at it ominously. <br>It was the first big clue (to me) to what the themes of the game were.

  I think distorting your voice like that when you said the &quot;nono&quot; words to follow youtube&apos;s guidelines contributed to make the whole thing more creepy, instead of being just simple censorship. Well done.

  &quot;You see them as monsters?&quot; &nbsp;is also supported by Eddie who had his paranoia enhanced by the town, making him see people mocking him, leading to several of the corpses James finds during his travel through the town.
