In year 5 post Surgery, Radiation and 18m Lupron. Testosterone was 19. My Urologist said NoFnWay will you get TRT. I asked if he ever heard of BAT. He hadn't. I started the Carnivore diet. Just meat eggs salt and water. It's actually easier than Keto. Within three weeks Testosterone was 340, now after 7 months of the diet my T is 551. I feel soooo much stronger!

As a long time user of Testosterone cypionate prior to my prostate cancer diagnosis, I can offer some corrections to this video.
.... Self injecting into muscle twice a week results in a much more stable T level than weekly or bi-weekly.
....... Self injecting at home should be easy and painless and can be injected deep into the thigh muscle.
......The medication is oil based as stated and is a thick liquid that can be difficult to draw into the syringe.
The solution is to use a course 22 gauge needle to fill the required amount into the syringe after injecting the equal amount of air into the vial. Once the correct amount is in the syringe, withdraw the needle from the vial and switch that course needle for a 30 gauge ultrafine needle.
Tap to remove any air bubbles.
Clean the injection site with alcohol, let dry, and inject.
Draw back on the plunger to check that no blood appears as this would indicate you have hit a vein and should find another site.If no blood is detected, proceed to inject.
It takes a strong pressure on the plunger to slowly force the thick T into muscle, but with the ultrafine needle, it should be painless.
....Too often, men are only prescribed course needles , which cause considerably more pain.
I can not even feel those ultrafine needles going in.
Good luck in reclaiming your quality of life.
And don't forget to warn patients that studies have shown that after 18 months or more of ADT CASTRATION, 75 percent of all men WILL NOT RECOVER THEIR TESTOSTERONE LEVELS EVEN AFTER A MEDIAN TIME OF FIVE YEARS.
Up to twenty percent of older men NEVER RECOVER ABOVE CASTRATE LEVEL.
Without this full disclosure, men are being tricked and deceived into chemical castration WITHOUT THEIR FREE AND FULLY INFORMED CONSENT.
This is criminal.

I'm 72 and was on Testosterone for two years prior to my diagnosis/treatment of PCa. My doctor has no problem allowing me to return to Testosterone if my PSA remains low, which was 0.23 at last check.

An important part of the conversation is free testosterone and estradiol levels….you could have 500 total testosterone but if estradiol is high (it blocks free testosterone) and your free testosterone is a fraction of what it should be YOU HAVE LOW TESTOSTERONE! ADT is life saver…but staying in remission also requires healthy balanced hormones. Keep up the good work Alex!!

Christine …. Excellent discussion. ! Very helpful as I am on the verge of TRT… and very good to know it doesn’t ‘cause’ cancer..
