  Really cool game, and I like the fact that some fights aren't to the death like pop culture, and other gladiator games typically depict. In reality, gladiator fights were more about spectacle, and putting on a good show, and deaths in staged matches were quite rare, and when they did happen it was seen as a tragedy more than anything. A lot of investment, and care went into these gladiators from there owners so, it would be just an extreme waste of money and resources to do all of that just to have them die in a match.

  This game reminds me a flash game from years ago which I liked a lot from notdoppler, Sands of the Coliseum.. what a beauty it was..
