  For a frontiersman like Teddy Roosevelt, it makes sense. Wether you bought it, or shot it, if it was once alive, he&apos;ll eat it. Also, part of the reason Reagan loved jelly beans so much, is because he initially ate them to help his process of quitting smoking.
