the old 028's from the 80's , they had a higher rpm than the later versions

I came across a MS 200T sitting in a Garage and forgotten. The new owner gave me the saw as it was going to thrown away in the clean out. Over time I downloaded the workshop manual and rebuilt the saw with new genuine parts, all still available. Internally it is beautiful and they must have always used very good oils. Because it runs like a brand new saw and is a dream to use!

In late 1990's I bought a new 044. Use it every year for my firewood. Always starts right up and cuts great. Love it.

I love my 1991 026, my slightly younger MS 260 PRO, and my 066 Magnum red eye.<br>I can always tell when someone is running an 066 near me.

I've watched a few of these, best of chainsaw videos and the 041 and 026 stihl saw consistently get the best saw ever made designation. I bought a 026 in 1992 and stihl have it and it runs great.

The 028 the 044 the 461 and 201t along with the 066 are by far the best tree service saws ever made

My first Stihl was an old 041AV ( no chain-brake) I still have it along-with my old 034AV which is a legend...and there are a Lot of very-good 'Other' saws out-there too dave nz

My favourite saw is my 441 Magnum. It gets a lot of shade but I bought mine used around 10 years ago and have only put a spark plug and a carb rebuild into it. It’s been so reliable and powerful for me. That said I kind of want a 461 now! I also have a 170, 440, 026, and 066
