  Hey Joe. My mom passed away earlier this year, I just wanted to tell you that your videos never fail to make me smile and laugh. They have helped me tremendously throughout these difficult few months, especially during the days leading up to the funeral. I’d watch you while I cried, and your videos always made me giggle through my tears. I just wanted to say thank you for being you.<br><br>(Edit: thanks for all of the condolences. <br>And for the people who say I’m lying, I don’t care. I’m just thanking Joe for taking the time to film these vids for us, and y’all are mad about it. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but that doesn’t mean I care or asked for it. Literally nobody asked for your shit take on the matter, and even if I was clout farming, you’d just be making me more popular by engaging, check your own fucking advice)

  I don&apos;t get how people say the story telling is bad or the plot is nothing. The game quite clearly lays it out. Caleb has some sort of repressed memory involving a younger kid (maybe little sister called Lily) that clearly traumatised him. The narrator is trying to bury it and lead Caleb away from it. If the player follows the black oil it leads him closer to the memory but with the narrator interfering it won&apos;t let Caleb remember properly.<br>There are moments where the door is banging and a man is screaming &quot;what did you do&quot; through it so as a guess Caleb did something to kill his sister at the water park. The uncomfortable memories in the home indicate that home life wasn&apos;t good for them either, especially with the implication that Caleb had to keep something out of the room he and his sister would sleep in.<br><br>The game is great story and theme wise and I personally don&apos;t find the puzzles too hard but it is a shame people view the game badly for it. The chase scenes dragged the game along as well. The anxiety parts are much more effective than the true horror honestly.

  This game honestly does such a good job of recreating what traumatic memories feel like. The tunnel vision, the distinct sounds you remember, areas or people you remember just repeating as if it’s a room you can’t escape, viewing people as monsters coming to get you, the need to keep lights on out of fear, mixed with how the narrator is essentially the brain trying its absolute best to suppress such memories and feelings for the benefit of the person experiencing them. He’s right, none of it is real, because it’s already happened. There’s nothing you can do to change the past, and all you carry now is the memories of what happened. And your brain does interesting, although horrific, but interesting things to attempt to understand and work through what you experience. Even if it over-exaggerates what you remember or it may feel way more intense due to a panic attack. It’s like your brain is jumping between trying to comfort you and torment you all at the same time.

  The clocks remind me of the ones that are cats, with their eyes moving back and forth. Absolutely horrendous

  Bro this was genuinely one of the coolest horror games Joe has ever played. This was so freaking cool bro. I know that a lot of the mechanics seemed to not be that great but the vibes of that game were actually insane
