The clip of Mike yelling "FUCK" like a fucking psychopath while James is peacefully napping is just pure insanity.

Honestly, this whole video is just life happening. Doesn't matter whether you're on YouTube or in a rock and roll band. People are going to get out of line, act stupid, break apart and regroup with new members that aren't as talented. But I give James Rolfe credit where credit is due. Sure, his content seems pretty soulless now but I think his accomplishments outweigh any bad press he gets. Overall, I wish people would quit dumping on the AVGN Movie. Sure, it's no masterpiece but at least he got it made. There was a point where everyone thought James just took the money and ran. It's hard to judge a guy who contributed so much to this platform.

My favorite episodes are literally just the Nerd in his room by himself getting pissed off... nothing fancy... I find it funnier because a lot of of us retro gamers can relate. He says what we all have felt back in the day playing these games... He could seriously simplify his production and truly take us back to the past!

My favorite episode is, ironically, Bootsy beats. I&apos;ve always liked Bootsy, he was laid back and it didn&apos;t feel like he had to &quot;put on a show&quot; to be charismatic and likeable, That&apos;s just who he is. <br>So, getting to sit back and watch him make one of the hardest NES games his bitch, &nbsp;all while calmly explaining his techniques without screaming or cursing, just smooth buttery Bootsy voice, is great.

People forget that he&apos;s not some deity from their youth, he&apos;s just a guy...

The fact that he’s been here since the birth of YouTube I think it’s pretty impressive that he’s still stayed relatively afloat through the years especially with a family now if you look at his contemporaries many of them are in a much worse place

I think &quot;the fat guys&quot; ruined it. &nbsp; And James got tired of doing it. And as much of an unlikable bastard as he was, Mike Mattei was such an important piece, truly 50% of what made Cinemassacre content great, his departure was the nail in the coffin. I still watch AVGN episodes but they sound like James is reading cue cards and would rather be somewhere else.

I still watch every avgn ep. I first got into his videos around 09-10’. It’s easy to see which eps James still writes and cares about and which he doesn’t. I used to rewatch new eps multiple times now it’s usually once and done. Though sometimes an ep comes out that James cares about. Megaman games or Earthbound eps for example. You can tell by how he carries himself in those eps that he enjoyed it. Can’t think of any this year that I’ve revisited beyond the first viewing though.

I discovered james rolfe back in 2009. I loved his avgn episodes and monster madness. Sure the nerd isnt the goldstandard of gaming comedy anymore. But he still holds and will always hold a special place in my heart.

James is not feeling the nerd character anymore. He’s checked out.

I get the fans are angry because quality has gone down but he was an under employed college kid when he started and now he’s a middle aged husband and father. &nbsp; The fact that he’s still doing it at all is remarkable. &nbsp;Mike on the other hand is still living life like he’s in his 20’s so obviously can dedicate much more time to game playing but can we really fault the guy for having real world responsibilities and probably wanting to move on but stays around because others won’t let him and he wants to make everyone happy at his own expense.
