  This is the one I&apos;ve been looking for for many years, I had the original one cassettes in a wooden box and I wore them all out!! ❤❤😂👍👍🤠🇺🇸 I tried to listen to this but I can&apos;t get past the commercials, people trying to sell me crap I would never ever buy! I give up.😢😢😢

  The BBC version was very atmospheric and had memorable opening music that I can still hum today.

  Can I recommend anyone listening to this checks out the BBC Radio dramatisation. It’s is far superior in my opinion.

  I used to have both The Hobbit and this exact boxset twenty plus years ago. I had forgotten all about that. I listened to it several times. I wore The Hobbit out.
