  read the book when i was little and every time it was from Julies perspective you had to flip the book and then it would change back to Bryce&apos;s perspective and you had to flip it again.

  I consider Flipped to be a story about how one&apos;s upbringing affects how one sees the world, disguised as a middle school romance. Though Juli&apos;s family had less money, she had a happier home life than Bryce, and this was reflected in her optimistic nature, while Bryce tended to focus on the negative. Juli&apos;s father taught her to appreciate nature, which led to her connection with the sycamore tree, while Bryce&apos;s parents were more focused on material things. Bryce&apos;s older sister rebelled more than Juli&apos;s older brothers, who were the same age, because Juli&apos;s parents provided a more supportive environment. I always found the parents, and even the older siblings, to be more memorable characters than Bryce and Juli themselves

It’s hilarious!! (Oh, and Rob Reiner is GOATed for directing greats like The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, and Stand By Me (amongst many other wonderful films).
