The actress portraying Vanessa is Morena Baccarin. You probably recognize her from Firefly--she was Inara, the Companion who was renting space on the ship.

He's actually not a jerk for making the "cure for blindness" joke; in the sequel, when you see him pull the bag of coke from beneath the floorboards, it literally is next to another bag marked "cure for blindness"

During the montage of him looking for Francis. The funny part is that he was asking where 'Francis' was - his goons wouldn't know him by that name. If he'd asked where 'Ajax' was, he could have actually gotten an answer.

Morena Baccarin, who plays Vanessa, also played the companion Inara on the show Fire Fly. Gina Carrano, who plays Angel, was also on The Mandalorian as Cara Dune. Before acting she was a women’s champion MMA fighter. She does her own stunts and fight scenes.

The fun bit about the "Less angry Rosie O'Donnell" bit is that Ryan had gone through a bunch of different lines and on that one Gina actually punched him in the face. He immediately apologized afterwards, but it was too perfect and they used that cut in the movie.

Fun fact: the final showdown at the crashed heli-carrier was originally supposed to essentially be a big shoot-out, but they ultimately didn't have enough money to rent all of Deadpool's guns that he collects for that long, so they changed it to him forgetting the guns in the cab, and went from there.

I just came here to say that, "Say the magic words, fat Gandalf" is the best line in the entire movie.

Deadpool's REAL superpower is breaking the 4th wall, the regeneration thing is just a comic book contrivance. He has defeated some of his enemies by buying their comic books and reading up on how he defeats them there so that he can then actually defeat them lol.

And Ajax IS the name of a dish soap, its slogan is "stronger than grease", and was named after Ajax, a classical Greek hero who was... stronger than Greece :P

Also, the X-Men Origins film didn't... didn't happen. We don't talk about that here :P
