  Im 61 years old and I was there when I was in the third to fifth grade. My father was in the Navy. We were there living in Navy housing. I still have fond memories of the beautiful city. We had the sea as our backyard and lots of coconut trees we would climb to get fresh coconuts. What a great time it was. I would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks for the memories!😊

  Literally on the plane right now enroute. My all time favorite places. Sunsets at mallory square are amazing but in all honesty the sunset anywhere in the keys is awesome.

  I live in Key West. Been here 12 years now. I don't live there full time anymore as of this year, now I travel. I really miss being away when I'm gone, been gone since FEB. I'm thankful I get to call KW/Stock Island home! 😊 Thank you God!

  Iowa stationed at the naval station Fleet sonar School in Key West from 1962 to 1967. Also returned to 1974 a sonar school to go to Sea and returned once again in 1970 for another Navy School. After viewing this video it is obvious that everything has changed in Key West. It was a simpler happier life back then and not so crowded. I remember Key West as people population with a lot of fondness.
