With the scoop you are 100% correct. Some 90s racecars do have small scoops there for driver ventilation. But on the S2000 specifically, it is verry easy to do a ram air setup, through the exsisting ducting and delete the AC system.

Theoretically, it could also supply air to the radiator, which is relocated to the rear of the car (rear-mounted radiators are most often used in drift cars). 🤔🤷♂

Yeah it's based on Ryu Asada's personal S2000. He's done some fantastic designs. He's responsible for the Might K, one of my all time fav castings. Along with some iconic JDM heros.

I choose Lego because it's just fun with the mini figure. The Mattel sets are only 5 bucks less. I like my bricks looking like toys.
