  For those curious: TV panels are cut out of massive many foot long and wide panels called motherglass. The process to create motherglass takes the same amount of time no matter how large the panel. So as we get better at making bigger panels the price goes down for manufacturing. So prices will never really go up unless some raw material has a shortage. TVs are such a perfect consumer item it&apos;s wild.
