It brought tears to my eyes when I heard the second talk about Chinese peasants. My parents and grandparents were all peasants who built and sacrificed so much, laying the foundation for all the beautiful things we enjoy today. I am deeply grateful for the kindness, strength, and sacrifices of all Chinese peasants. Because of them, I can be educated, intelligent, and lead a prosperous life. Their legacy will benefit my children and grandchildren for generations to come.

I visited the Great Wall in China a few years ago. The tour guide told us the wall could hold 1,000,000 Chinese people but only 250,000 Americans.

Being poor is not embarrassing, being a farmer is not embarrassing, not having a degree is not embarrassing, not looking like a model is not embarrassing but what is embarrassing is how JD Vance present himself that is embarrassing. Trust me, the Chinese don’t feel bad for being called as peasants. Why? Because they are very much confident of the reality. They are just responding to someone that is rude and ignorant.
