In my opinion, this is Steve Perry's finest vocal performance.

Jonathan Cain said in a live interview that Steve recorded his vocals for this song in one-take! Now you know why Steve is called "The Voice".

What a powerful song. Who's Crying Now is another remarkable performance from this concert.

The single, most incredible live vocal ever in the history of rock, arguably.

So powerful. Jon plays at the end to give Steve a chance to recover before continuing, as he always said it was the most difficult song he did. Steve was an only child, but he was a child of a broken home.

I was there in the crowd for this performance... Also saw them at the Texxas Jam (yes, two x's). There were a fantastic live band.

Steve was the Goat in his prime. Journey was/is one of the greatest rock bands ever. This was during the golden years, and there is no modern equivalent. No autotune, no filters, this is his voice raw. I can confirm, I saw them live many times back in the day.

Not only did Journey have Steve "the voice" Perry but lets not forget that lead guitarist Neal Schon was playing in the band SANTANA at the age of 17!

Every musician in this band was awesome but Steve Perry's voice came from somewhere special.
