I have lurked several bee keepers pages and YouTube for several years now. Asking very few questions. All the while absorbing information. I am the result of all the information shared on these pages. Last week I learned about a hive in my daughter’s water meter and today I took that knowledge and put my big boy pants on and went after it. I was rewarded with a super gentle hive and a big fat easy to spot queen. Thanks for sharing.

Best part of the video was when you pointed out the roach because at first I thought it was a queen. Now a can see the difference.

As a beekeeper myself I know exactly what you're saying about the wax. I've only been doing bees for 5 years and wax and drawn comb have always been at a premium. I take on as many cut outs as i can just to get the wax. I process my wax using a solar wax melter I built from junk and scrap I had laying around. Works great and it doesn't work me. Wax is so valuable to me I think making candles with it is such a waist. Thanks Mr. Jeff I've learned so much watch you, mike barry, joey rawls and even learned a few thing from the ol' dirt rooster.
