  One of the most distinctive memories I have from watching the show is seeing Imperfect Cell next to Piccolo after Cell ate a couple of cities, and realizing that Cell actually <b>got taller</b> from that, to the point that he’s towering over even Piccolo. Genuinely unsettling.

  ...I&apos;ve been an avid Dragon Ball fan since 1998, and I NEVER picked up that Cell copied Goku&apos;s ability to copy moves lol. This was a brilliant video, especially King Cold&apos;s part. I always took that Cell was pragmatic like Cold, so this was reaffirming to watch.

  In fact, there is another reference to King Cold. Semi Perfect Cell tried to convince Android 18 to let herself be absorbed by Cell with Android 17 voice. This has similarities to how Cold tried to persuade Trunks to join him. Cell and Cold are both sneaky deceivers. None of the other donors have this trait.

  I haven&apos;t yet watched the whole video, but I just gotta give some hands for being so concise, noticing small details from both the anime and manga versions and having solid logic. I got some interesting little tidbits about Cell I never thought about before! So, thank you!

  I’m not gonna lie, I literally never thought about their cells actually influencing his personality I figured it was just what made him so strong and gave him access to techniques, Mind Blown… great Job my Dragon Dude

  Cool video man. It seems so obvious, but I&apos;ve never seen someone really analyze Cell so specifically from this perspective. Never realized how specific the manga was about those 5 being the donors as opposed to the whole squad.

  This is a fantastic overanalysis. Cell was already my favorite Z villain and this helps build my own mental headcannon as to why.

  One thing about Cell using Instant Transmission that is usually pretty glossed over is how Cell was only able to use it after Goku used it ON him to move him to King Kai&apos;s.

  I know this might be an anime-only thing, but in his imperfect form, Cell has some features that are <b>very</b> reminiscent of Freeza: hands with five fingers but feet with only 3 toes, a separate segment in his chest in the same location and the same shape as Freeza’s, and a long, prehensile tail. Also, his more slender build in this form is strongly reminiscent of Freeza at the beginning of his fourth form.

  Cell’s practicality isn’t only from King Cold. Vegeta was moving in practically the same way on Namek, using his and run tactics and scrambling for any tactical advantage. That said, Vegeta was a lot more manic about it; that coldly dispassionate assessment of the situation definitely seems to be coming from King Cold. It’s just that AFTER the assessment, the Vegeta cells let him make better decisions about it.
