  Megan — While I typically like many of the tips you provide in these videos I agree with another commenter on being put off by this particular video’s thumbnail. It crossed the threshold into being clickbait. I carry my cross-body travel sling exactly as pictured, and your video provided no reason why front carry is a security risk. To my knowledge sliding it around to your back is what presents a security risk. Please don’t harm your reputation as an honest &amp; straight-shooting YouTuber by allowing clickbait-y or exaggerated &amp; sensationalistic thumbnails in your channel.

  The point of a money belt is to wear it under your clothing - you don&apos;t access it openly when you&apos;re out and about. &nbsp;You carry a separate bag with one card and a small amount of money for the day.

  I didn&apos;t use the safe in a fancy Marriott hotel in Costa Rica because of warnings like thia and thought I hid the money well. &nbsp;But, a day at the beach gave someone the free time to do a good search. &nbsp;It was all gone. &nbsp;Reported it, and Marriott refused to believe me, basically accused me of trying to scam and said I should have used the safe. &nbsp;Clearly the staff had thieves, and the safe would not be &quot;safe&quot;, and they would have said I lied about the safe. &nbsp;I guess the answer is don&apos;t bring cash or jewelry and anything you would want to be stolen when staying at a 5 star resort these days.

  4 Please plug to the wall first, then your USBs. Former computer tech here. Never plug them in first before plugging into the wall so you don&apos;t get a power surge that can cause intermittent problems in your device!

  Solo traveler here. I appreciate the door lock, but several years ago, I had a medical emergency in my room, and I wonder whether the lock would impede emergency responders by life-saving minutes.

  Any hotel with key cards does have access logging. We used ours all the time to identify employees stealing housekeepers tips.

  If my cross body sling gets stolen, I’ll sadly be out a water bottle, some granola bars, sunscreen, and a bandana. My wallet and passport stay in a zippered front pocket of my pants.

  I&apos;ve had my Pacsafe cross body bag since 2009. &nbsp;It&apos;s done 4 trips to Europe, 2 trips to Alaska and Canada and many domestic trip. &nbsp;I take it with me anytime I travel. It still going strong. It&apos;s been wonderful. It has anti slash straps and even a &nbsp;way to lock the zippers so they are not easily opened. &nbsp;Amazing for 2009.

  Use a hanger on the chain, twist it and it will make enough noise to wake you up to call 911 or the security number of the country you are visiting. &nbsp;Keep your VPN on at all time.
