Zirda pilot here. I play this deck weekly, and have made a number of top cuts with it.

I want to thank you for your intelligent, well-reasoned take on the deck, its strengths and limitations, and how the trajectory arrow is pointing upwards for it.

Unlike other cEDH channels (cough cough Play To Win cough) you display a profound understanding of not only the deck, but the mentality it takes to play it well.

Keep making these terrific videos!

nice video. Just started building Zirda after playing lots of Etali and Tasigur. haven't played any game with it though, just goldfishing at the moment.

Do you consider Gleaming Splendor (Outlet) + Smothering Tithe (refund treasure) + Zirda (activation reducer) = draw your deck until you get Grand Abolisher effect before turn it to deck out your opponent as another win con in Zirda?

I am trying the new Chrome Dome as another infinite colourless mana outlet by creating infinite artifacts creatures to swing (esper sentinel) or draw whole deck via cantrip artifact (Vexing Bauble).

Love Zirda. Have them as a companion in my Kenrith deck. Honestly seems very strong, but I have kept it at a casual level. Still have the composite golem and kinnan basalt monolith of course >:)

Based on the leaderboard, if u want a good all round high win rate deck one should play rog ishai? Ps how does magda rank? Ive been thorn btween continue building rog ishai and selling off what i have collected and just go turbo stax magda so i can also build zirda. Whats ur thoughts? Or go towards a gaeas style deck like baylen?
