I don’t know why this video is marked as using AI. I didn’t notice any AI visuals or audio in the video.

As discussed at the beginning, George Washington basically started the French and Indian War with Jumonville Glen.

Which, along with the Seven Years War, led to British debt.
Which led to more taxes.
Which, along with the peace treaties as a result of the war preventing expansion westward, led to American Independence.
Which led to the French going into debt from helping the US.
Which led to the French revolution.
Which led to Napoleon.
Which led to the establishment and spread of republics and the Napoleonic code as well as nationalism across Europe.
Which led to the crisis of 1848.
Which led to socialism, fascism, etc.
And that nationalism led to the eventual creation of places like Italy and Germany.
And of course, that nationalism would eventually lead to the balkanization of...well, the Balkans.

Going back, losing the colonies and the debt from all those wars led to the British going in on India and expanding to China.
Which led to the opium wars. Which significantly diminished the Qing Dynasty's legitimacy.
Which scared the f*** out of the Japanese .
Which, after Matthew Perry forced the end of Isolation, led Japan to modernize in the Meiji Restoration to protect themselves from foreign incursion.
Which, led to Japan start seeking their own colonies.
Which led to the first Sino-Japanese War.
Which destroyed almost any legitimacy the Qing had left.
Which led to the Russo-Japanese War.
Which led to Russia being humiliated.
Which led to the protests in St Petersburg that the Tsarists tried to put down.
Which was the start of the downfall of the Tsar.

And all of this obviously sets up everything for WWI, which is basically the foundation of the modern world.

George Washington was the main character.

ATTICUS WAS AT THE BOSTON MASSACRE???? I consider myself pretty well-versed in the early days of the revolution, but that is a shock to me!

I’ve paused it halfway through to go ahead and issue a formal complaint…. Why the hell is this only 45 minutes? I need more now.

Considering how difficult indigenous words can be to pronounce, I think you did pretty well pronouncing Monogehela! They can be quite difficult!!

I know that you never use AI and you have no idea how much I appreciate that!!! Please tell me that I heard you wrong that you're going to put most of this on Patreon!! I Really want to be able to watch this new series, but I also can NOT afford to support anyone on Patreon 😢 If I could afford to do that, I'd happily support your channel. I'm sure that YouTube regularly demonetizes your videos, so i wish I could, but I'm disabled and am unable to work.

I'm so excited because I am from Pittsburgh and live just outside the city now. My high school was about 2 miles from the point.
