This feels like someone playing a game of Crusader Kings 3 with an insane amount of save scumming.

Frederick really had the best strategy: Just don't die and eventually everybody else will die.

    >Holy Roman Empire without an emperor for several years
>Electors pick some no-name count from Swizerland, thinking he won't be a threat

Assassin's Creed: Austria, where you are an assassin of the Habsburgs, tasked with killing rival claimants, married women, and newborn babies, all to advance your liege's landgrabs.

"Let others wage war, but you happy Austria marry, Because what Mars gives to others, divine Venus gives to you".

I can't tell if the Habsburgs were very lucky, or they simply had a very effective, and extremely good on covering their tracks, group of assassins on their pay roll.

The translation of Magarete´s nickname does not fit at all.

Her nickname was "Maultasch" and that does not mean "big mouth" at all but it literally means "mouth bag" and it is actually the term for a German ravioli-like "pasta filled with meat", besides that this nickname was not refering to that kind of pasta but was a socalled "linguistic eggcorn" of the castle Neuhaus which was her favourite residence to stay.

The Tyrolean alpine castle Neuhaus (today it is a castle ruin) was located above an important alpine customs station on a trade pass road in the Tyrolean Alps connecting Italy with the North of Europe and that custom station was named Latin "Mala tasca" (=literally "bad bag" but actually the common term for "death trap - or - mouse trap" refering to that specific local geography at that specific place the customs station + the castle above was strategically placed) and the local people called the station + the castle above therefore colloquially in German "Maultasch" because they didn´t spoke Latin but "Maultasch" sounded somewhat like "Mala tasca" and the other way around "Mala tasca" spoken with an heavy tyrolean accent sounded somewhat like "Maultasch"
