China is a very modern and efficient society and in many ways much futher ahead than all countries on earth. But it does have some things that are developing.

They have many tier 5 cities that are better and more developed than the capital cities of most countries in the world, even compared to developed countries. And they are using Ai technologies in those cities as well as well as in rural villages across the country.

Tourism in China is very, very big. I've travelled all over the world and honestly I enjoy touring China more than any other country.

Regarding the toilet part, honestly, most Chinese people actually prefer not to use sitting toilets in public. We’d rather use squat toilets because they feel more hygienic. Sitting ones require direct skin contact, and since you have no idea who used it before you or whether they had any skin diseases, it just feels a bit unhygienic! That’s just my take!

A comment about the toilet: Chinese thinks that squat toilets are more sanitary than the sit toilets. That's why one sees squat toilets especially in the public toilets.

Once you truly get used to convenience of Chinese apps and daily life, daily life in the rest world will feel like a struggle. China is actually one of the few countries in the world, besides the United States, that truly possesses internet freedom, or what is known as cyber sovereignty. Most countries in the world are basically accustomed to using American apps like YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. Because of their over-reliance on the US, these countries are essentially American cyber colonies, where the US can easily control all your data sources. Due to the competition between the US and China, China needs its own cyber autonomy to avoid dependence on the US and the leakage of its data.

Reputationally, Chinese universities are behind US and UK schools. But technically, they are at least as good if not better. That said, some Chinese schools are internationally recognized, e.g., Tsinghua, Peking, Zhejiang.

I have to clarify something for China: Google withdrew from operations in China voluntarily because it refused to comply with Chinese laws. Microsoft and Apple, on the other hand, operate very well in China. Furthermore, China's mobile internet technology is actually more advanced than any other country's, but it doesn't serve foreign markets.

Squat toilets in public places can help prevent the spread of contact-transmitted diseases. I personally believe that squat toilets are better in public places.

The Western ranking of Chinese universities are totally biased it is like asking United States to rank Soviet universities or asking British Naval General to rank Spanish Navy during anglo Spanish War. Half of the top AI engineer are from China in the US, let a lone China yet look at the ranking, Most adanced Chip are produced in Asia dedpite Trump "transfer to America" policy ... Yet anglo rankings ... Soviet Union first sent satellite into the space even the Cold War is Over look at how many Soviet scientists got Nobel Prize or how many Soviet Union universities got to be the top by Western rankings i don't expect anything different for the Chinese.

Another area China is ahead in is internet speed. Practically all of China is covered in 5G, including the metro and trains. China has also implemented a 30-day visa waiver programme, which resulted in a huge influx of tourism. Sadly the USA is not given that 30-day waiver.
