If you did not eat while cooking, I would NEVER trust your recipes! It's a sign of a real cook! I use to tell my kids when they were growing up that it's called quality assurance! lol!

Holy crap about a month or two ago I bought a little dollar watermelon growing kit from Target. Not thinking much about it I took it home and followed the directions. About two weeks went by and I started to see a little green stem growing through the dirt. This is my first time growing anything from seed. As I witnessed it growing each day I knew I needed to find a spot in the yard to plant. This gave me inspiration to grow a full Garden.
I am now in process of growing corn, beans, cucumbers, squash, tomatoes, a young blueberry bush(the blueberry bush was a mothers day gift from my daughter and her father) Aaaannnnnnddd The seed kit I purchased are sugar baby watermelons
I didn't do it alone though, I have to give major credit to my daughter's father. He helped with the tilling, planting and he water's it everyday.
When we were tilling the dirt, I got jealous of him because he got to till more than me. I wanted to get my hands dirty. I am happy to say we did complete the garden work while getting in to only a few fights. Lol

This is my recipe as well, however, to add an extra treat: use frozen blueberries instead of ice cubes to keep it cold when served. It looks beautiful and tastes great.
