  I built this boat after watching this episode during one summer in college. It was a lot of work, a lot of fun, and a real nice mover on the water. A fellow sailor on a catamaran asked if l built it and said that it looked great. I beamed with pride.<br><br>My father and l used to watch TOH and NYW all the time. In the 1990s they were great shows. Norm is retired, my father passed away last month, but rewatching these brings back great memories. Thanks, Norm!

  Relive my childhood with every episode. Would watch every Saturday &amp; Sunday morning while eating breakfast. New Yankee Workshop, This Old House, &amp; Hometime with Dean Johnson. Learned a lot. Great memories. Watching these greats again. Wish there was full episodes of Hometime on Youtube. Then all would be perfect.

  Some kids watched cartoons on Saturday mornings. I watched New Yankee Workshop, This Old House, and Hometime. So happy this show is on Youtube now 😌

  It’s always fascinating to watch a simple pile of plywood turn into a proper little boat. I especially enjoy the moment when a long building project finally reaches the water – that first sail must make all the sanding, fitting and finishing worthwhile.
