Plot Twist; We already occupy a world size space ship that is already moving at 1.3-1.4 million MPH (2.1-2.25 Million KLM). We are all headed for the Hydra/Centaurus region, also known as the "Great Attractor". The entire local group is headed that way. There's going to be a galactic party of epic scale when we get there!

GENERATIONAL ? Possibly because, decades later (OR<br>sooner) an updated Advancd Physics Propulsion will be discovered & applied, so that a crewed FASTER ship will voyage out to catch up - and then proceed to arrive at their Earth-type planet destination MUCH earlier. .

Only an Ark type ship would be practical to reach the stars. Crewed by robots that don't require food or life support or going to miss home or sleep cycle is not interrupted cause mental breakdown like in humans. The human sperm and eggs could be stored in a radiation shielded container to be thawed and mixed in test tubes upon arrival. Then the robots role shifts to parent,educator,cook , doctor and farmer.

If you can understand how people would act in such a sealed environment surely you could delve a little deeper in to the psych of man and see that this longing to reach the stars is simply an expression of discontent, the naive and childish view that the grass greener on the other side of the fence<br><br>of course it is not and all we would be doing by colonizing other worlds is to spread our own moral contagion<br><br>I have seen enough videos on this subject to conclude that the dream is utterly impossible to execute, nauive, childish and irrational<br><br>and i do disapprove of scientists wasting their skills on such enterprises when they could be better spend on eliminating hunger and poverty<br><br>but of course i misspeak, what calls itself science is more interested in inventing better ways to killeach other than alllieviating the human condition
