Never was a big fan of Pritzker but props when props are due. I don't agree with everything he said but his opening remarks were comical and I thought the speech was well constructed. The "take a walk every morning" added some humanity to the guy and while I previously questioned the notion that he may have presidential aspirations there may be something to it. Being able to communicate goes a long way toward the making of a president (eg Obama)

JB Pritzker has worked hard for 8 years toward making Illinois a better place. Reduced State debt, balanced our budget, and vastly improved our Credit Rating. That’s what an effective public executive does, in addition to a myriad of social service improvements & govt technology advances.
