  When I was little, early 90s, and I couldn’t tell time, I used to beg my mom to remind me when Transformers was coming on. I remember jumping out of the pool to go watch it, leaving other toys to watch it, and just falling in love with every episode. When you’re little, I think a part of you believes these things are real, and that somehow you might get to meet these characters. It’s fades quickly as we get older, realize that it’s not possible. Yet, with transformers, the feeling of wanting to meet those characters never completely died. I still want to meet Optimus Prime…. And I think that’s true for most of us. That’s why Peter’s death hurts so bad, he was our bridge to a fantastic world and a hero that was more than meets the eye.

  A somber Saturday. Peter was a wonderful guy in person. I met him once; what an experience. He and Dan Gilvezan were so incredibly kind. Spoke to my friend on the phone and didn&apos;t even ask for payment; my friend lost his mind when Peter thanked him for his military service. His wife told me later that he came home from work &quot;like a little kid&quot;.

  Peter Cullen, the best speech hype man of all time (whether it was a character like Optimus Prime or Thaddeus, or as an intro announcer such as his role on Voltron and Toonami, everyone was paying attention)<br>Tim Curry, the best comedic villain of all time (voice acting or live action, he was always entertaining)
