  ❤️ A Morning Test Run After So Many Long Days<br><br>After several long days of hard work, the mechanics finally finished rebuilding our boat engine. Today was the day we could finally take it out and see how it performed.<br><br>That morning, while waiting for the two mechanics to wake up and get ready for the test, my husband and I shared a simple bowl of noodles with two eggs. Just one bowl for both of us, because we didn&apos;t want to waste food. I still remember the days when we could only afford plain noodles and couldn&apos;t even buy an egg. Life is still not easy, but little moments like this make us appreciate what we have even more.<br><br>After breakfast, I started the engine and prepared to take the boat out to the Cai River for testing. This time, we couldn&apos;t test on the smaller river because there were too many boats along both banks. From our starting point, it was about 3 kilometers to the larger river.<br><br>The water level was very high that day. When we passed under Cai Be Bridge, the cabin roof came very close to the bridge. The water level here can rise by around 3 to 4 meters depending on the tide, so we had to calculate everything carefully.<br><br>I used the first bridge as a reference to judge the clearance at the next bridge. When I increased the throttle, the rudder dropped by about half a meter, giving us more room to pass safely.<br><br>When we reached the embankment, my husband went into the water to remove the trash caught around the propeller while we waited for the mechanics. We needed the propeller to be completely clear so we could test the engine properly without anything holding it back.<br><br>After so many days of repairs, reassembly and waiting, the moment to test the engine had finally arrived.<br><br>Once we reached the open river, I gradually increased the throttle. The happiest thing was seeing that the white smoke was completely gone. The engine was running much smoother and stronger.<br><br>When the engine was still cold, it reached around 1,750 RPM. After warming up and allowing all the internal parts to expand properly, it reached about 2,050 RPM.<br><br>At that moment, I could really feel that the engine had come back to life after all those difficult days.<br><br>However, I felt that the current propeller was a little too light and wasn&apos;t fully using the power of the engine. We may need to adjust it or replace it with a more suitable propeller in the future.<br><br>Even so, I was truly happy and satisfied with the result. All those long days and late nights of work by the mechanics finally paid off.<br><br>I am sincerely grateful to the two mechanics for their dedication, careful work and responsibility. To me, repairing an engine isn&apos;t just about making it run again. It is also about experience, patience and putting your heart into your work.<br><br>A simple morning, one bowl of noodles shared by two people, a 3-kilometer trip out to the big river, and finally hearing the engine reach 2,050 RPM.   I’m retired now, but I spent many years working around machinery in the printing and graphics business, so I really appreciate the knowledge and hands-on skill that goes into this kind of work. I’m especially impressed watching the tools and equipment he uses—it takes experience to know how to use them properly. This guy definitely knows what he’s doing!

  Yes, we live on a lake here in the US and the water level is up about 4 feet, our water levels do not change as much like the rivers. Looks like your boat is making lots of power now, putting off some good wakes. Hats off to the mechanics that work on your boat, we hope that this will put an end of the boat problems, now we need to get you some loads and start rebuilding income.
