Another video Suggestion for you. The Geography of the Tibetan Plateau. It seems like a barren Roof of the World when you look at it, but hides a massive Water Tower and tectonic secrets under its frozen rocky surface.

Great video. Suggestion for another one: The Geography of Amazon. Another region that seems uniform at first glance, but hides geography (and archeology) features under a green cover.

I lived in Mauritania in the western end of the Sahara and the "endless" barren lands are impressive in their own way. When any existing water collects in the wadis between the Hamadan, these oasis and palm forests feel like you've entered paradise. You can see how monotheistic religions developed in the harsh desert and how they developed down certain paths. I hope you can explore this stunning region in the future.

To chime in regarding some of the more negative comments, I LOVE the style of this video just as much as I love the real-world exploration of the newer ones! I think they're both really informative and creative facets of the channel. It fuels the geography and environmental science nerds in me both.
