  I think the panels on the windows might be coats of arms representing their family tree. An eagle typically represents courage or high authority, while a leg can symbolize strength or military service. In historic buildings these individual panels were often arranged sequentially to map out a family tree or document the marriages and alliances of the estate's previous owners over the centuries. The bottom left looks like the red hand of Ulster the panel beside it is called the Lion Rampant which presents the Royal coat of arms of Scotland.

  This used to be my old college .farming ,equine and forestry was studied here and students used to live in .so many good memories here .it  is very haunted in the outside living quarters .i was here in 1996 and it was beautiful and i recognise the old furniture that was in our classrooms .on the left hand side the  girls slept and boys on the left .there are many things to explore on the grounds .although i live local i keep coming back for an explore .it was a hotel after the college sold it but they went bankrupt .love your videos .much love from Caernarfon 🙂

  This place is just iconic. No words but I will tell you when you got to the carved horse at the bottom of the banister it literally took my breath away. But just as I thought I'd seen the most beautiful carving ever you came to the area that actually brought tears to my eyes. You see I'm an equestrian through and through. You're standing at a view that I gazed upon for quite some time. The overview of sitting room with what I would guess to be painted a lovely seafoam green just spectacular! I could live with that easily. And on the walls high up above is the bigger than life portrait of a jockey on a Thoroughbred, they must be famous. As they say a picture of it don't do it justice, I'm certain. I can't imagine what it was like for you to see this place up close and personal. You cover these special places in a most wonderful way. Thank you for bringing this to your viewers. I'll never get to see this place in person of course, but I can bask in the view and get some seafoam paint and soak in the feel-good vibes from it. Bravo' and may someone step forward and bring this place back to its former glory. 💞

  It is so heartbreaking to see this mansion allowed to decay as it is.  The furniture, light fixtures, stain glass and the beautiful wood that is all ruining from rot and decay!  Thanks for sharing, hopefully someone will save it!❤❤

  People put so much effort into those paintings and carvings etc, they really should be saved before any morons vandalise or torch the place
