The series is called "The Sentinels", and is based on the comic series, "Les Sentinelles," by Xavier Dorison and Enrique Breccia, published by Delcourt Press. It was made in 2023, aired on Canal+ in September of 2025. There's only 1 season so far, and 8 episodes.

Combines lots of ideas we’ve seen in films like Overlord and Captain America, kinda neat. Low IMDB score, though, just 5.8. I guess the French audience isn’t really taking to it.

That's an original concept, making WWI French "Gueules Cassées" some type of steam punk Super Soldiers, with some occultism peppered in.<br>Might want to check it out.
