I really love this entire scene. Especially when he starts telling the story about who Nicholai was a amazing scene Frfr definitely the best scene in the movie or at least one of them

I love Denzel Washington in this role but I also have to give props to the awesome Dougray Scott. I've seen him in several things and he's been superb in them all. When I first heard they were doing movie versions of The Equaliser I wasn't all that hopeful since I'm a huge fan of the original Edward Woodward series and Hollywood had screwed up so many movies based on beloved series (eg Starsky and Hutch and of course the woeful Dukes of Hazzard) but this was awesome.
