  I used to own the 1969 Imperial Lebaron coupe for several years.  The two door vent window set-up rare beyond rare.  I loved that car and enjoyed every second of owning it.  The mileage is not 75,000.  It’s 175,000.  Doesn’t matter.  It was well maintained.  I traded a ‘65 Imperial convertible to get it from a collector in NY.  This was back in the 1980’s.  Drove it daily.  It is definitely not an entry level car.  It’s a Lebaron,  and a properly loaded one at that.  I sold it to a collector in Missouri with a big load of spare parts.  He sold it to the Nebraska guy who called me as he was trying to trace its history.  It did need a paint job which he apparently did but it seems to have suffered more than a little UV damage.  I don’t know who has it now but I really hope that person fully understands and appreciates how rare this beautiful thing is.  If I were in a position to buy it back, I would in a second.

  I worked on a guys Airflow and I believe he told me he paid 5 grand to recore the radiator due to odd shape. I hate thieves.<br><br>As for your Jalopy segment. In 83 I tried to by a 68 383 Charger but the trans failed during the test drive. A few months later I spotted it on the back row of a used car lot. I bought it for $300. Those were the days.
