I lived in Japan in 2004 and 2005 working as a teacher, teaching English to ages baby to senior citizens. It was the best time in my life and I’ve never experienced a better time since. I was 26 years old and am now 47, and I yearn for life in Japan with my wife and daughters so much. My wife and I were so lucky to spend our last week in Japan in the beautiful city of Yokohama. This video brings back very happy memories. <br>I look for employment in Japan all the time just so we can move back and experience life there again, but it is very difficult to find employment when I’m not living in Japan. I think life and the experiences of living in Japan are so much better than here in Australia.

It’s been three decades since I lived in Yokohama for four months. This video reminds me of the streets I used to walk, the Pacifico Yokohama Hotel, the Landmark tower that back then boasted having the fastest elevator in the world, and the Yokohama train station. I visited several cities in Japan, but Yokohama was always the one I liked the most. That’s where I began to enjoy solitude. One of the best times of my life — and perhaps I’ll never return.
