  Trust this man.<br>I recall seeing him in 09 at the Bagram west side DFAC.<br>He was the Hand wash station NCO and was very serious about his duties.

  I remember being in a shoot house during a training exercise and I inserted a metal mag in upside down and didn&apos;t notice until no pew pew was happening... and yes I was teased about it for the rest of the day rightfully so.

  The purpose of the 31 rounds in the Pmag is so you can reliably load 30 rounds on a closed bold. It&apos;s not intended to load 31, its just extra space. This is especially important for civilian shooters because all the different ammo makers have slightly different specs, so the extra space guarantees you can load 30 on a closed bolt.

  Mid 2000 was when all the magazine springs were being manufactured using cryogenic technology. Massive change in the longevity of the springs.

  On my 3rd tour in Iraq. 2007 with 1-15th infantry I carried ten Pmags and never had any issues. When I left Army gave them to one of my soldiers who used them in Afghanistan.
