Fall reset. What a great time to start before the holidays occur. I’m slowly working on room by room in our home to get rid of/donate things.

You look so nice in that dress. The style and color is perfect for you. You can find new sparkly boots that are comfy on your feet! 🤍

Love when you do long form videos (love the short too)! Yes, sell the sparkle boots! If they hurt your feet then get rid of them. You deserve boots that don’t hurt your feet. 😊 also, the shirt you weren’t sure about… if it’s not a hell yes, then it’s a hell no. 😊 enjoyed the video!

Hi Mariela! Enjoy the long video! For figuring out your style, I would say start paying attention to your preferences (both the likes//dislikes and your sensory likes/dislikes as well) and maybe start writing them down on your phone or piece of paper that you can keep coming back too and when you do go out shopping if you tend to gravitate towards things that are sale, pay attention to what you like about it and what you don't and you can do this with the clothes you already have. Sometimes thrifting can be a good way for some to discover their personal style, but ultimately I think it comes down to a lot of trial and error and getting to know yourself and what you do/don't like, what your values are, figuring out who you want to be/become, and figuring out what is old you versus new you now. And sometimes a lot of your older interests you've loved as a kid will reflect your personal taste and style now, just sometimes in different ways than what you'd expect! And also paying attention to compliments or asking people close to you what colors/styles seem the most you can help sometimes, but ultimately it comes down to you knowing if that truly feels like you or not, and sometimes it may feel like you temporarily and in the next season it might not feel like you at all, but that's okay too as we're always evolving, changing, and growing and your personal taste and style also reflects that!! Also looking back and self-reflecting a lot on what fictional characters you looked up too as a kid can help you (value wise, but also style wise) and figuring out why you liked them or were drawn to them can help, and figure out if you were influenced to like a particular item that you truly don't like can help narrow things down too, like if you only liked something because you were influenced or peer pressured to like something, even though it may not feel like you is also all apart of finding your personal style! A YouTuber I like to watch who's going through the same thing in finding her personal style is The Laundry Chat! She's got great tips and tricks and she's learning as she's going and growing through the process of what her personal style is! And don't be discouraged if you discover a lot of no's, or not quite right's on your journey of personal style discovering as each no brings you one step closer to finding your personal style and sometimes it does take time, patience, and effort to curate it, but it can be well worth it in the end! I've been going through the process myself and I've learned that for me, if there's one thing that I don't like about it, I'm not going to wear it, and everyone has their own quirks and sensory preferences when it comes to personal taste and style and it's so cool to see them find theirs! And for clothes that you don't like to wear, but if they have meanings attached or related to your pets/loved ones you could set them aside for a while in a memory bin and focus on what you do love to wear and it'll be easier to figure out what your favorites are and what makes your favorites confidently scream, "Yes, this is me" or when I think of me, Mariela, this it it/me!" And sometimes drowning out the noise around us to find our true style can be one of the hardest parts. 🥰

You look beautiful in this video Mariella! That green dress looks lovely against your skintone. As far as the boots go, put an outfit together with what you already have, include the boots, and wear it out. Wear them one more time, and then once your feet start crying, you'll be reminded why uncomfortable footwear is not for you!

Change of seasons is a great time for a reset.
Suggestion - the bathroom cabinets - get some pull out shelves so it's easy to get at things. The green dress, you're wearing - nice, good color and style - maybe get a couple more in different colors, for sure a black one.
The sparkle boots - sell them, they're uncomfortable.
